This will remain free for life!

A Program made for those feeling displaced

Painful and traumatic circumstances in life can keep you from living present and fully alive, especially when traditional therapies fail to relieve the burden. After 20 years of experience, our founder Dana Hargus realized that counseling and biofeedback provided powerful outcomes, but recognized that sustaining change was more likely if she could break free from the limitations of a once-a-week visit. So we designed Restore House to be the first step towards healing for the countless people struggling with persistent emotional, physical and spiritual traumas. Some of the symptoms and conditions this program is adaptable to:

First responders

Addictive behaviors

PTSD

Anxiety

attachment disorders

autoimmune disease

chronic pain

behavioral issues

Autism

Stroke/TBI

Sleep Disorders

ADD

Disrupted Adoption

Depression

Sensory Processing Disorder

Cust0mer testimonials

As a mom of five, including two children from hard places, Restore House has been life-changing for our family. The opportunity to receive months' worth of treatment in just two weeks has been incredible. Biofeedback has significantly improved our kids' self-regulation, emotional control, and even their sleep. Learning about nutrition from Ms. Nancy has completely changed how we view what we put into our bodies. These changes have even allowed us to reduce our use of psychotropic medications. This program gave us the chance to evaluate our situation, learn, and grow together as a family—it’s truly transformed our lives.

Jenny C., parent of participant

"Restore House has been a tremendous help for our family as we navigate parenting a child from a difficult background. Last week, our son had a joyful and engaging morning, a noticeable change from his usual grumpy and antagonistic demeanor. Dana and Nancy’s guidance has been invaluable—they’ve helped us realize that in order for him to change, we need to adapt our parenting approach. Their experience with kids from hard places has given us both practical strategies and hope. It’s reassuring to know this process is challenging but possible. We now feel confident things can improve as we continue learning."

K. M., parent of participant

"Over the past two weeks, Restore House has had a significant impact on our family, especially our 17-year-old son. He’s become much calmer and more self-regulated, with less anger and more manageable agitation. We've also reduced two of his medications, and he’s doing well without them. The dietary changes, particularly around gut health, have been key—our son is now more open to these changes, and I feel better too. Personally, I’ve experienced a big improvement in my own health, including better sleep. This program has transformed our household, helping all of us feel calmer and more balanced."

FAQs

How do I know which program is right for me?

Both programs could benefit individuals and families that need help improving their health, emotional regulation, and relationships. Restore House is a greater commitment for individuals but it provides an intensive, personalized program for accelerated results. Restore House incorporates six weeks of relational and lifestyle coaching, two weeks of in-house biofeedback, calming brain-entrainment activities and additional instruction at our Restore House facility. In addition, we provide online sessions for our participants after leaving Restore House to help them stay connected and continuing the path of health and wellness in spirit, soul, and body.  Supplements are also provided to each participant according to their needs as well as the music therapy intervention, Safe and Sound Protocol.

Restore + is an online community for individuals that are looking for a positive, research-based understanding of the connection between spirit-soul-body.  Our culture often excludes the connectedness of these three aspects of our lives. We also discuss how dysfunction in any part creates dysfunction in relationships and well-being. Live Question and Answer sessions, blogs, videos and courses will give our members opportunities to explore and connect with others while learning valuable content.

Does insurance cover Restore House?

This form of intervention is comprehensive and accelerated and does not meet the guidelines of traditional therapy that is paid by insurance companies.

What about parents coming with their child?

Restore knows how important the relationship between a parent and child is to the development of the child.  We welcome children to our program and we also welcome the parents to attend to strengthen the family connection.  All children need the support and interaction of at least one parent to attend Restore House.

Are accommodations covered during the stay in Ada, OK?

The accommodation for the two- week stay at Restore House is the responsibility of the participants.  There are several motels/hotels in the Ada area that can meet this need.

How should I prepare before Restore House?

The Restore House program starts with weekly online coaching sessions for the first six weeks and assessment and delivery of supplements to aid the body in the healing process.  Also, Restore implements the Safe and Sound Protocol, a form of filtered music which aids the calming of the nervous system.  After the six weeks are completed, a time is set for attending the two-week session at Restore House.

What happens after Restore House ends?

Each Restore House participant has the opportunity to meet with us one more time online after leaving Restore House with the other participants that they met during their two-week stay at our facility.  We extend to each participant a life-time membership to our Restore + community where they can continue to meet with us during our live sessions.  We believe in the power of community and we hope to continue connecting with each other.

What is the Safe and Sound Protocol?

The Safe and Sound Protocol was developed by Dr. Stephen Porges to calm a dysregulated nervous system by listening to specially filtered music.  Many different selections of music are offered to meet individual preferences.  This five-hour music intervention can be sent to our participants and used within their home.

Are there scholarship opportunities?

Restore realizes that many may benefit from our programs but this resource may be cost-prohibitive. We are taking applications for scholarships for a limited number of applicants as we continue our commitment to serving all populations.
